Get Me A Beer!!

Get Me A Beer  :  check it out on FaceBook! Stewie is getting me a beer from the fridge!

Believe it, or not, this trick is relatively simple! It's a composite of a bunch of different commands.

The first thing to practice is "tug".

You need to play "tug" with a sock, toy, rope, or any other item that you could tie to the refrigerator handle.

Say "tug it" when you play!

Put your dog in a "sit" position, and then back away and say "OK TUG IT!" and let her bite on to the sock/ toy.

When your dog is consistently "tugging" when you ask her to, tie that same sock/ toy to the fridge handle, and tell her to 

TUG!  If she has trouble, wiggle the toy that's dangling from the fridge, and keep encouraging her to "tug"... if she does 

not, you may need to practice the regular game of tug for a few more days...

Try grabbing the sock that's tied to the fridge, and help her grab on... even let her see YOU opening the fridge that way!! 

Keep practicing until she "TUGS" the fridge open!! This is step one! Tune in tomorrow night for step two!
